Dr. Neil Vranis is a board-certified plastic surgeon, fellowship-trained in aesthetics, whose work centers on the face — advanced facelifting and the fuller work of facial rejuvenation. His results are meant to read as refreshed, not operated on: contour and harmony restored, the person still recognizably themselves.
His Training
His training runs through some of the country's most demanding programs — undergraduate at Johns Hopkins, medical school at the University of Maryland, an integrated plastic surgery residency at NYU Langone Health, and an aesthetic surgery fellowship at USC in Los Angeles. He refined his approach to the face under Dr. Theodorou, and brought it to Beverly Hills.

Most MILA patients return to light activities within a few days and are comfortable being seen socially within one to two weeks. Traditional facelift recovery typically requires three to four weeks of visible downtime. The laser-assisted approach reduces tissue trauma and accelerates healing significantly.
Will I need general anesthesia?
No. A MILA does not require general anesthesia. Your sedation plan is tailored to you and reviewed at your consultation, and the procedure is performed at an accredited facility. It's designed to keep you comfortable throughout, and most MILA procedures are performed awake. Not all patients are candidates; candidacy is evaluated at your consultation.
What makes a MILA different?
