13 / GOVERNING LAW
Governing Law & Venue
These Terms of Use, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or your use of the Site, are governed by the laws of the State of New York. without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 14, the exclusive venue for any such dispute shall be the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this Section waives any non-waivable right or protection available to you under the laws of your state of residence. This Section governs your use of the Site only and does not apply to the provision of medical care.
14 / DISPUTES
Dispute Resolution
Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at privacy@milaface.com describing your concern, and to allow us 30-60 days to resolve it informally.
Claims about the Site. If a Site-related dispute is not resolved informally, it will be brought in the courts identified in Section 13, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court where eligible.
Medical care is excluded. This Section and Section 13 do not apply to any claim for medical malpractice, professional negligence, or personal injury arising from care. Those claims are governed by applicable law and any separate patient agreement, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights regarding them.
